... for selling your car at least!

I have never had such a pleasant, fuss free experience like it. Turned up with the other half's '17 plate Zafira. I described it's condition as average- it had picked up a couple of large scratches and only came with the one key. Quoted an extremely generous price, took 5 mins to looks around the car while we had a coffee in the main showroom.
Money was in my account by the time the inspection was done. Judging by TrustPilot reviews I am clearly not the only one genuinely surprised by something good to report for a change.

Wholeheartedly recommend them- I don't know if they've changed their practices by but contrast WBAC were a nightmare 4 years ago, nitpicking on what was an almost unmarked 3 series.

I have a car to sell, so I've just been there and their offer is 20% less than WBAC, with whom I've had no problems in the past.

Horses for courses, I suspect.

I also had a great experience. WBAC attempted their usual chipping of 100’s off a retail ready car. Cazoo collected, paid circa £1300 more than WBAC and paid before the car left. Can’t fault the experience. I then enquired about a car on their site with poor pictures and got the answers I was after from customer service. I didn’t buy the car but my two interactions with Cazoo have been great, My one interaction with WBAC will stay as my one and only.

I wouldn’t ever use them on the basis of “Cazoo yeah you can” on their adverts which is the most awful slogan I’ve heard in a longtime.

For people who think buying a used car is as simple as buying a new toaster.

Just used Motorway to offload my late Father in Law’s Sunshine Bus Peugeot Rifter Allure, if that is not a contradiction in terms.

Offloaded for more money than he paid for it about a year or so ago. 19 plate, FSH, immaculate, 10700 miles. Whole process was really easy and they collected from us and paid before the car was driven away with cleared funds. Went to a Peugeot Dealer in Cornwall.

I think it completely depends on who you get and how desperate they are for the car. I sold my L200 to WBAC, walked out with more money than the online quote and that's after they marked a few things down on it too.

On the other hand, Mum's partner got shafted by them and he walked out.

Used Motorway to get rid of her Qumquat, easiest sale ever, no mouth breathers asking "best price cash" or other ste, genuinely pleasant experience, the best part was no longer owning a Qashqai.

Weren't they valued at a price equal to the entire used car industry of the UK when they floated, or was that apocryphal? If true, it's not surprising that they're not performing well.

I've used Motorway and Wizzle to sell 2 cars and found them both excellent.

I've also bought a car from Cazoo and again found them excellent to deal with.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car from Cazoo or recommend their services to someone else.

biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

When they first came out they were a proper Cashcow for Nissan.

With all these hugely strong prices from these companies, can we assume the most important thing for them is to (burn through investor cash) get as much market share ASAP at the expense of actual profits?
