Vehicle details not found when changing plates

Ive just put a private plate on my car via online service and GOV.UK application states successful and that plates can be put on the car immediately. It says

'Your current vehicle tax and MOT certificate will remain valid until their expiry dates. DVLA will not send you a replacement MOT certificate.Your current tax or SORN will continue under the new registration number. If you have a Direct Debit in place your payment schedule will remain unchanged. Your bank statement will show the new registration number when the next payment is taken, you don’t need to do anything'.

It also states ..

DVLA will send a new V5C registration certificate (logbook) for the registration number XXXXXX to the keeper at their registered address. This will arrive within 3 to 5 days.

Warning
Please destroy the V750 or V778 and the V5C registration certificate (logbook). These documents are now invalid and must not be used to transact online or notify DVLA of any changes.

I have already updated my insurance, Dart tag accounts etc.

Now one hour later, when I go onto the Gov website to check under new plate is shown as taxed etc, it states 'vehicle details can not be found' . If I use my old reg it still shows as taxed etc ?

I understand they can take 5 days to update their records, but what happens if I am now stopped or anpr'd and database shows that the plate I am driving on relates to one where 'vehicle details cant be found' ?

You have the emails from DVLA to show you have successfully made a plate transfer.
Thousands of plates get assigned and they are all subject to a lag in the systems catching up.
Don’t worry about it.

Did that a couple of weeks ago, the V5 turned up really quickly, but the same day as the V5 arriving, got a letter from my insurers (who I told of the reg change within 15 minutes of doing the assignment online) saying that the registration details could not be found and I could be driving an unregistered vehicle.
Checking the DVLA Vehicle history jobbie showed the new reg applied to the car, and AskMID had the insurance on the correct car/reg - but Dart Charge could not find the reg so did it manually and all was well.TfL couldn’t find the car on the new reg either, but their database is at least 3 years off (my Historic vehicle still shows as liable for full ULEZ, despite their clearly marked exemption on their site.
When I put the personal plate on the wife’s car a month ago, no problem at all - but I did hers on a Tuesday and mine on a Friday….
Clearly their databases don’t like talking to each other

Don't forget the DVLA system is a daily update, so in one hour I would not expect to see anything yet.
