Delay reconnecting to WiFi (Win 10)

I'm not sure if I've broken changed a setting or something on my Win 10 laptop. Previously when it woke or on initial boot up it would connect to the internet very quickly. For the last few weeks it can now take up to 5 minutes to connect. During that time web pages come back as "No Internet" pages.

Virus scan comes back clean. Once connected it's rock solid.

If you're not manually telling it to connect and it still does it on its own but is slow doing it then check for other networks in the area that may be on the same wifi channel.

Also you could remove the wifi network completely and re-join again to see if there has been some setting changed you weren't aware of.
