Well, for the last 4 days my company has been off the air due to a distributed denial of service.

The National HiTech Crimes Unit tells you to call the CCU at Scotland Yard, Scotland Yard tell me to call the local Police station, the local Police station not understanding what a hi tech crime might be - direct me to this:

I've been through that too. The Hi Tech crime unit were helpful but obviously overworked. Unless you're a big corporate being blackmailed they haven't got the resources to help.

They they refer you to a PC in your local area who has even less resources...
