Advice needed on Z4 family friendly SUV or similar

Hi folks,

I'm in the process of putting my 2013 BMW Z4 up for sale - we're new parents and are in need of something more practical. I'm expecting to get around £14k for the Z4 and can put a further £3-4k towards another second hand motor, however I'm struggling to find something that covers our requirements.

Ideally we're after an SUV/compact SUV for the ride height, petrol automatic specifically with Android Auto (bit of a deal breaker for the missus). I was originally looking at Quasqais since they're close to the US Nissan Rogue (which we've enjoyed driving in the past) but price wise they seem to be just a bit outside of our range.

I've only ever bought second hand, never made any foray into the world of leases but am open to it.

Essentially I'm a bit lost as to what models/years I should be looking at and whether it's better to purchase second hand again or put the cash from the Z4 sale into a lease.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The thing is you retrofit android auto/apple carplay to most cars but if it must have it as standard thenlook for a Foed Kuga in 1.5T Titainum X spec & make sure it has Sync3, the it'll be ready to go.
