I O W speed trials 2/3 April 2022

The inaugural Isle of Wight speed trials event is going to be run along Sandown sea front on a closed road circuit. Around 100 cars have signed up so far. Tickets are available via the website.

I’m in IOW this weekend and realised on Fri that this was on this weekend. Website doesn’t push through to any info about tickets, so I’m assuming all the rolled over tickets from previous years means it’s sold out?

Anyone on here been down today that can give me any lowdown on whether it’s worth popping down for a look?

Its sold out as I think the numbers are limited. There are tickets / wristbands floating about - I picked up a pair of VIP weekend wristbands yesterday. There is a ticket office on site in Fort Street. Superb weekend for it - I am at work today but just sa a video of a Sierra Estate with 500hp kissing a big straw bale.
