Are there more wheels or doors in the world

Having this discussion in work and it seems to be across the media at the minutes.

I'm definitely team wheels. Think of all the wheels in your house, sofas, chairs, beds, drawers, shower sliding doors.

Then all the Matchbox cars with no doors and four wheels.

Any sliding doors on that cruise ship will have a minimum of four wheels, then all the drawers have wheels in too... I'm still team wheels.

How about an opening window? Is it technically a door, since you can open and close it, and even climb through it?

The rubber bung covering a charging port? Is that a door? It open to allow access, and closes to protect what's inside.

We've been arguing about this at the office this morning. I'm team wheels.

Cars, general consensus is they have 4 wheels and 5 doors. WHAT?!?! Spare wheel, steering wheel, flywheel. I bet theres a few wheels in the electric window mechs. Belt tensioners.

Bikes 2 wheels. what about jockey wheels?

Do pulleys, cogs, gears and bearings count?? Flaps, hatches and windows can all do one

It's easy to overlook the wheels.

Oshkosh HET = 2 doors and 36 wheels in contact with the ground. Plus 4 spare wheels.

AS90 = 4 doors (if you include crew access hatches) and 24 road wheels, 4 track tensioning wheels, 12 return roller wheels, and 4 toothed final drive sprocket wheels.

Although the argument starts to fall apart if you start including as "doors" all the stowage lockers, toolboxes, etc.

Still a lot of wheels, though...

Be careful with categorising flaps as doors.

ETA; especially back doors, that may or may not be getting "smashed in".
