It's on again, Quartararo fastest in FP2 closely followed by Morbidelli. Dixon fastest in Moto2 and Scott Ogden 9th in Moto3.

Bastianini at the pointy end again, and with the fastest v-max. Looks like the Gresini team have found a sweet spot on the GP21 Duke (or Ducati have dropped the ball with the GP22 bike)

I'm assuming Mandalika is a twisty circuit, given that Fabio and Franco are 1 & 2 with top speeds not troubling the scorers?

Not sure what's going on with Pecco and MM down in 21st and 22nd scratchchin

ETA : Fookin hell! Jake Dixon's time in Moto2 best part of four tenths quicker than Vietti in P2. Good lad!

Just realised since I missed it live, this must be the first early start UK race since 2019.

MM93 back to crashing. Twice in quick succession in Q1 after running back to the pits after the first crash to get his spare bike. Track seems to get slippery as it heats up.

I could see that happening. Acting like a complete tool blocking Dovi when he was on a lap just to get on the back of, and this was funny, the slowest person on track. So of course he'd get held up, get frustrated and push too hard and crash. Great from from Digi in Q1 to get into Q2. Dixon very impressive and Ogden 9th in practice to get straight through to Q2 in Moto3, we'll leave that there for now.

There was a red flag in Q1 which delayed everything.

Cheers for that, and yes it looks like a track very suited to the Yam; a bit Valencia-esque

I can't quite believe the riders are skipping and smiling prior to racing around in that deluge.

I think I'd be taking the car yikes

Start delayed already..... 2 hours of 15 minutes delays followed by race cancellation?

Just get out and get going! (I know it'd be a lottery and a crash fest!)

.... Having said that, the standing water the safety car is ploughing through looks bad in places. No race I reckon.

Wow it's bucketing down. One of the cameras caught lightning hitting the ground on the edge of the circuit! They've even wheeled out a local to do an anti-rain dance down pit lane!
