New 2 Series Coupe 230i

I went to my local dealer to check out the new 2 series coupe yesterday. Much better in the flesh IMHO.

I can see on the UK car configurator the 230i is available, yet my dealer had zero information or acknowledgment it will be coming later this year.

Anyone heard differently?

The lead times are way behind. I ordered the M240 back July last year for Jan launch and delivery. Launch was put back to March and my delivery is scheduled for June.

It was announced as part of the UK lineup a month or so ago. But chances are you won’t see a physical one until next year.

I have a 220i in Alpine white for immediate delivery if that floats your boat.

I looked at a new M240i today at my local dealer and I was very impressed with it. As you say they look miles better in the metal than they do from pictures.

I don't know much about the 230i but I did really love the look of the M240i at Goodwood last year. I'm seriously tempted to order one with all the options to replace my 840d. All the reviews seem to suggest its incredible to drive and the best BMW Coupe currently on sale. Cars like this need to be celebrated whilst they still exist!

I speced a 230i with the dealer at the weekend and test drove the 220i. To get the monthlies under £500 I was looking at £7k deposit.

Release date is mid 22, with delivery late Q4 even early Q1 next year.

I really like the new 2 series coupe, but not enough to hand that over...

That does sound expensive for a 230i, have you considered the M240i? It's higher GFV may mean the monthlies end up similar

For the M240i there seems to be very little else out there offering the same performance for the money it costs. It very much seems like a cut price M440i given it shares the same underpinnings and interior as the 4-series.

The reviews have all been extremely favourable so far, I'm very excited for mine!
