Game Pass Ultimate sharing on PC

Hiya guys

Wonder if some one can help?

Have Game Pass Ultimate on my Xbox I'm primary account holder with my username and my son has as second account under this. No problems in keeping everything separate.

However, he has a new gaming PC and wants to use my Game Pass subscription on this. Now he can play games on Game Pass but under my username. When he has tried to play under his account it wont let him and tries to push him towards signing up for another gamepass subscripton.

Am I thinking that only the primary account holder can use Game Pass on PC and any secondary account holders linked to the main primary user can't? If that is the case as its annoying as I genuinely like to keep things separate lol particular with gamer score, etc lol

If anyone can confirm my suspicions on this I would be grateful

I think you can add him to family sharing? Check on google as I had something similar but can share with my kids.

Just a small bump...

This has been working fine since March and all was fine and dandy...

However son has got new laptop and for the love of god I can't get it to work on his new laptop....Is this down to the new 'friends and family plan' thats due any time soon so that your able to 'share' your gamepass account with up to 5 people thats due to be launched soon? As it keeps on asking him to pay for the gamepass as opposed to the fact i'm already paying for it on the xbox?

Or am I missing something entirely?

Any help great fully appreciated
