So. V12S Roadster somewhere near Chichester awaiting relay truck back to southwest. Pootling along and suddenly loads of pale blue smoke behind. Stop and pull off road. Fair bit of oil slick on road and oil dripping from front tray. AA man reckons oil filter is still tight but very difficult to reach.
Some pipe popped off?

Sportshift or manual?

I think one of the hydraulic hoses on he SS transmission is known to fail, so if you have SS then likely that would be my guess.
