Any i3 specialists on here?
Discussion
Evening all,
I have a 2014 i3 rex that has recently come up with the dreaded "driver restraint fault".
Whilst it's a fairly common issue on early i3's there's not a great deal of information on the actual issue, all I've been able to glean is it's >£1k thing to fix. Even my fault code reader doesn't come up with any live errors which is unusual.
Before I pull my pants down and prepare for the worst does anyone here within the collective PH wisdom have any suggestions as to which airbag plug (common issue seems to be plug coming loose and/or >resistance) or warning system I should check before taking it in?
Thanks.

I don't know if it will help but I have been taking my BMWs to TWG Automotive in Camberley for 6 or 7 years.

Will, the principal, is ex-Sytner and had an i3 last time I went there.
