I backed it on kickstarter.....nearly 2 years ago.

Mine turned up the other day, and I've not had the chance to do much with it yet. I've read NFC tags, copied my debit card from my phone(!), programmed the power off for the TV into it, used it as a USB script executor ('bad usb').

I'm going to see what it can do with the garage door opener in a little bit, and program it up as a replacement for a RF fan controller (eldest is always breaking the twinning, want to see if this helps).

It's got a lot of potential for geek related pissing around.

These look quite cool, didn't have the money to order one though.

I've wondered what the legal situation is with these ie what you can and can't legally do with it.

ebay are blocking sales for legal reasons.

Annoyingly, the fan remote is out of the radio band it supports....but apparently it will work with car remotes. I can see ebay getting antsy.
