Toddler seat on front passenger seat - G Series

Has anybody had any luck with installing a toddler seat (Group 1 onwards) on the front passenger seat of a G Series 911 using the seatbelt - I have tried a couple now but the seatbelt is not long enough for the intricate threading system they often require.

Any help and owner experiences much appreciated.

Probably doesn't meet your requirement for a Group 1 seat but I have no issues getting a Graco Junior Maxi Group 2-3 Car Seat in my '88 G-series.

A quick look around and the Joie Elevate 123 looks a similar size to the Graco.
