If all goes well, 24hrs from now I should have the biggest grin!...can't wait. Driven nothing like this before so should be fun...and may have a little of the summer left to enjoy the top down blasts.
Now I have to learn what all the buttons do on the dash....obviously TVR wanted to keep the weight down and thought labels too heavy!
Found the car on PH classifides so finding this the perfect website already!
Cheers,
Virgil

Car is the moonraker black '94 with cream leather (Pplate D8WWW - didn't get this plate though). about page 4 if searched by price.
Picked it up last night and had a roofless blast back to Sunny (actually was for a change) Southend from Hants. Goes great. 2nd and 3rd gear are fantastic. Will promise to be v. carefull in the wet though! :-)
Sister in law to be and her other half came round and saw it and loved it...when the better half got home and saw it, she liked it, BUT she's onyl 5'3 and the seat doesn't really slide forward enough...oops!
Does anyone make TVR booster cusions? :-)

Wahey! Another car with a 'porn' handbrake! Welcome and enjoy!
Interesting number plate (D8WWW) - it could be sold to an internet dating company!
Regarding Griffs, I've driven a lot of fast and fancy cars, but there really isn't anything to compare to bombing around in the Griff on a warm sunny day with the roof off. It's almost sensory overload. Enjoy, and don't let anyone tell you it's a poor choice. It's a damn good one!

Definately more 'smiles per mile' - 3 months into mine and cant remember life Before Griff ("BG"
. Going to the Growl in a few weeks time and taking it on Eurohoon for 10 days of touring in September. I actually enjoy washing, waxing and polishing the car now [must lie down, must lie down!!!]
My biggest problem is arguing with the Infinately Better Half over who is going to drive the big 'un!!
Enjoy - one of my Managers lives in Shoeburyness so I'll tell him to keep an eye out for you!!
