Everything on my terrace is covered in a layer of sand… it pissed it down for 16 hours over night and this morning.

This used to be fairly common in the eighties, along with acid rain which would lift clear coat.

That's nothing, I went to the car wash yesterday, then to a local cafe, and as I was driving away from the caf a seagull emptied itself all over the bonnet and windscreen. Went straight back to the carwash and had it hosed off. Thanks P1 carwash. Guess they'll be busy tomorrow.
