Yahoo Mail On IPhone Problems

Just this afternoon the yahoo mail on my iPhone has stopped sending emails , it receives them ok but any i try to send just sit in the outbox and I get the below message

I tried sending mail on my home computer and it sent ok so obviously a problem with my phone not the mail itself

I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but still the same , any ideas ? Many thanks

I’ve just had the same with Sky email which is via Yahoo.

I did a technical reset of the phone (turned it off and on again) and it seems to have done the trick.

Edit - I was getting a ‘password missing’ message.

Looks like I was a little premature - emails that I thought were sent are still in Outbox.

Down Detector suggests an issue, given the number of reports recently.

Also, check out @yahoocare on Twitter - seem to be asking a lot of people to DM them the email address that is having problems.

Sounds like a server issue? But possibly something more….?

Seems like it’s fixed now.
