Help Please - 987 Foglight
Discussion
Earlier this week myself and a couple of mates went on a mini roadtrip covering around 360 miles. My car (a 987.1 Boxster) performed flawlessly.
I did manage to cancel a pheasants life subscription though. Pulled over because I hit it with the front drivers side, and thought it might be stuck in the vent. Turns out it wasn’t, but it did take out my fog light bulb.
Or so I thought.
Replaced the bulb, and still have no light. A bit stumped now, as the car recognizes there is a bulb out. Any suggestions as to what it could be are very welcome.

You may have to have the fault cleared from the car (front end electronics control unit). It could be the connector isn't making sufficient contact; take it back out, check the connector (and the new bulb; just in case!). The connectors are the same left and right - if you swap the lamp units do the same faults apply??

Only just seen this now! Thanks!I had tried earlier this week when I caught a minute, the “faulty” side’s bulb works perfectly in the opposite side, and the working sides bulb doesn’t work in the faulty side. As you suggested I think it’ll be the connectors but I’m struggling a bit. Hopefully get some time over the weekend.
