Freight forwarding company recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for freight forwarding companies? We send quite large crates all over the place and our current provider of 5 years well their service levels have just evaporated so we are looking for a replacement! Mainly sea freight but also some EU road....

I will also be interested in a good business, mainly for imports but some exports when not doing FCL.
