Peacemaker: DC TV Series
Discussion
Watched the entire run when it came out in the US.
Loved it. Really wears its heart on its sleeve and quite a lot of the time is wildly inappropriate. Cena is great however British actor Freddie Stroma is a complete scene stealer though! Brilliant performance.
(Mind you Gunn has written every character in a really detailed and well rounded way. They all have time to shine over the 8 episodes. Roll on season 2.)

I really enjoyed it. It's rounded and pungent.
What does it smell of?The outtakes are quite good.

Not a fan of d.c stuff but this really was fun watch.
It shows the power of one creator being given free reign. James Gunn seems a bit shocked at how much freedom he was given. Almost all other superhero type TV has the feel of committee/ entertainment algorithm in comparison.

one good thing about Cena is that he really doesn't seem to mind taking the piss out of himself/his character. Quite refreshing TBH
Oh and another 'shout out' for Eagly - great CGI and well trained for the bits that aren't
In that case the CGI is even better than you thought. Eagley is 100% CGI in every single episode. Oh and another 'shout out' for Eagly - great CGI and well trained for the bits that aren't
When they needed a physical interaction they used a large bowling pin shaped cushion for cane to hold onto.
