Back on the road again!!
Discussion
At alst, I have finished the rear suspension and radiator replacement.
Just need to get up on a ramp at work now to retighten all the fixings and retorque the wheelbearing nuts. (280lbft :yikes:)
Took her for a drive to fill up with fuel and found that the wipers had stopped working.
All sorted now though. The near side swivel had seized up. To be honest the wipers had been a little slow for a while but I never got around to sorting them.
I took off the circlips (below the splines) and washers and tapped the splines back into the housings. With some WD40 and working in and out, the wipers are now better and quieter than they have ever been. Circlips refitted and all is well. Obviously this is a good starting point for anyone with tired wipers.
Roll on the weekend and hopefully some sun. Can't wait to get the roof of and :driving:!!!
Just needs a wash and polish and I will be ready for SCH3. :bounce:
