What brands of bits and sockets do you use in your impact wrench, please? This is for home use on a max 400n/m wrench, my standard bits are getting chewed up due to the fasteners being worn, and obviously because the bits aren't intended for impact.

It's 1/2" drive but I also use 1/4" with one of those dewalt adapters, but happy to drop the adapter. Any recommendations please?

Wera impaktor.

I've not got an impact so can't vouch for their impact bits and sockets specifically, but I'm yet to find something Wera-made that doesn't last. Not cheap for us home-gamers, but it's an investment. biggrin

The large set i bought from Screwfix, with 1/2 and 3/8 drives, plus deep sockets have done everything i've asked of them, nothing has slipped spread or broken.

Another vote for Wera. Big fan of their stuff generally.

I just picked up some random 'impact bits' from Amazon years ago, have survived my impact gun for ages, which is a Makita ~1000Nm jobby.

I had a look, I got the Silverline 633802 set back in 2018, £35 ish thumbup

I more recently got a set of 10-32mm impact sockets, the brand is 'Fleetise' hehe They also have held up fine, they're tall so have been useful for those where the shorter sockets can't fit.

If they're good enough for a 1000n/m impact they're good enough for me - thanks!
