Speed Cam Warning

I am picking up a new car this week (Tesla M3) which has a cam but the cam does not include speed camera warnings - short of installing an additonal cam with that feature what options do I have?
Use the Waze app, try not to drive like a complete idiot, and you should be OK.Gary C said:
Has a what ?
a 'cam', whats that ?
A cam is a rotating or sliding piece in a mechanical linkage used especially in transforming rotary motion into linear motion. It is often a part of a rotating wheel (e.g. an eccentric wheel) or shaft (e.g. a cylinder with an irregular shape) that strikes a lever at one or more points on its circular path. The cam can be a simple tooth, as is used to deliver pulses of power to a steam hammer, for example, or an eccentric disc or other shape that produces a smooth reciprocating (back and forth) motion in the follower, which is a lever making contact with the cam. A cam timer is similar, and were widely used for electric machine control (an electromechanical timer in a washing machine being a common example) before the advent of inexpensive electronics, microcontrollers, integrated circuits, programmable logic controllers and digital control.a 'cam', whats that ?

As someone who originally trained as an instrument mechanic, I know what a proper CAM is, just not what the OP is talking about.
Mind you, the last CAM I worked on was for setting the power on off mark/space ratio for withdrawing Control Rods from a nuclear reactor

Just set the cruise control to the speed limit. Problem solved
Or use a speed limiter, better than cruise. I used mine frequently in 30s and 40s, but with fuel prices as they are, I and others in front are driving well within the +10% + 2 limit, so not much of an issue. My F30, has
Cruise control
Speed limiter
Plus additionally a chime that can be set at any speed limit. As that is harder to instantly set, I have that at around 79/80, occasionally was triggered on an overtake. I used to set the chime at the top end of the Speed Awareness Course limit (+10%+8mph) but have mellowed now, and want to avoid even SACs.

tty CashCow has cruise, I use it all the time in 30's and 40's
