Cayman / Boxster retained value?
Discussion
Trying to do some sums on how much a Cayman would cost me over 3 years, and need to factor in depreciation. I know that in the early days the depreciation hit wouldn't be too high, due to their (relative) scarcity, but given that I'd keep it for 2-3 years then that bubble will have burst by the time I come to sell.
So what do you think is a reasonable retained value of list price (incl options) after, say, 3 years? About 60%? If anyone has a copy of Glasses Guide, what is the retained value of a Boxster S after 3 years? (this is probably a good guide).
Lastly, am I right in thinking you only get a 2-yr warranty from Porsche? If so, what does it cost to extend for the 3rd year? Many thanks.

If you are trading the car in I think 50% could be the highest you can plan on (could be more but I doubt it will be that much less).
3rd year warranty will be around £800-£900 from Porsche but that will be a 3rd party warranty that they resell. You may find another 3rd party one for half the price just check the T's&C's. I did that with a boxster paid half the price and got more cover by not taking the porsche 3rd party one.
