Hi all
I get my car back tomorrow
Currently agate grey.
Love the colour just fancied a change
Without having it resprayed.
4 years old now Iv had it from new.
Most of my previous cars have been black so that’s what Iv gone for.
I’ll post pics of it tomorrow

Got it back last night
Really happy with the job and
the service.
I’m not a wrap sort of person
but this liquid wrap Finnish is
Better than oem and Iv had a few new
Porsches in various blacks over the years

It was done by Lw liquid wrap Northolt
Quite a low key set up
They only do one car at a time
And the owner phil is a bit of a perfectionist

Interested to know more about the process. Such as, what needs to come off the car to do the liquid wrap. Does glass have to come out, etc?

everything stays in place. no need to remove anything.

more's to the point (once quality is assured) what's the projected lifespan (with the amount of detritus on our roads being machine-gunned on the nose of all cars...)

Really? Thought it was doors off, bumpers off, lights out etc as per MRJWW recent video. Looks quite extensive if it’s the same process as that, which makes me think it is quite expensive, but not seen any $$$ numbers yet!

A few months ago I was quoted 5800+vat for a colour change liquid wrap, bumpers etc off. Akin to a full repaint, didn’t see the point so left it at that. I did wonder what the quote would have been though if it was a Ford Focus, but that’s a subject for a different thread…

To be done properly things have to be taken off and back on again.
That where it becomes expensive and risky.
I'd rather not have my P & J taken apart as it never goes back the same IMHO.
Some will cut corners to save costs and close up you will be able to see that.

With my OCD its not something I would entertain but its a cheap colour change and tart up potentially and can be cheaper than PPF

My brother had this done to his car and 6 months on it was nothing but trouble! Peeling edges, orange peel and it chipped like plastic too. Terrible product unfortunately. Traditional wraps are way more durable.
