999 response on motorway through a TPAC exercise.

This video is interesting.
An emergency response who likes to film his driving (in a very nice Porsche) joins a motorway and gets involved in a TPAC exercise.
Some interesting moments make me question whether he made sensible lane decisions, and wonder whether pulling the exercise might have been sensible.
I'm sure it was a very dynamic situation where everyone did the best they could, but an interesting discussion point.

The faces of the coppers would have been interesting to see; "who the f'ck is that in the Porsche?!..." 
Interesting side topic that has just occurred to me; is it accepted legally that a vehicle on blues, be it fire, paramedic or whoever, is permitted to pass a police vehicle engaged in controlling traffic, as we saw here?

Ah yes, the exceedingly rare Porsche Octavia VRS estate! 
I did wonder, noting that the roof cam showed a sunroof and rather un-Porker shaped bodywork, and the front cam suggested the car wasn't high enough to be a Porsche SUV!

Yes we can go through a road block on a motorway under motorway exemptions. On other roads we still do but in both cases tend to be careful as unknown ahead.

I like this guy’s channel. It’s great to get a view (literally) on other road users from the perspective of an emergency services driver.

There was a Dutch guy called Robin did something similar. I think it was called Ambuchannel. He took his videos down. I’m assuming his bosses told him to do it.
Unbelievable, I recognised the location (Letchworth longabout) right from the start, and then spotted my car in the video , I was mixed up with all the stopped traffic on the A1 , I was convinced this was a police training exercise, I vaguely remember the chased car having a police driver , but maybe I was wrong ,
It made my commute to work slightly more exciting than normal .

I've had emergency vehicles pull along side me when I've been doing a rolling block. It's great what is on youtube these days. I subbed to him a few weeks before this, It's great to see people do the right thing and if one person watches and goes wait if I give that ambulance space it will get them there quicker it's doing its job!
There was an unmarked Volvo that also went through the rolling roadblock but couldn't keep up with the VRS.
I'd say the TPAC guys thought it was a good exercise, Would of added to the debrief. Maybe that video is now watched as part of the training?
Anyone know why the police would of been standing by the side of the road?
Up thread someone said they now can only do TPACs with a rolling roadblock, I can understand if it's a planned stop but wouldn't it take too long if something needs to be stopped quickly and unplanned?
And lastly how do go about getting a job as the runner?

I’ve seen it done without a rolling road block, admittedly that was probably the plan but the car doing that was stuck in traffic just in front of me. Not a pursuit situation though, they just jumped on to a transporter that was possibly unaware.They were very reliant on the public doing the sensible thing and hanging back for a few moments, until the roadblock car wrestled itself in front.
As has been said it's a Skoda rather than a Porsche. The guys Youtube channel is really worth a view, excellent examples of high speed, safe driving and very honest commentary, he even admits when he gets it slightly wrong, which is rare.
With regard to the TPAC exercise continuing, he may well have notified them when he saw what was going on and from their point of view continuing would have been good experience, i.e. coping with a non standard build up to the stop.
He's very unlikely to stop his blue light run as he is a first responder paramedic, I think.
