Anyone leased a car beyond 3 years with maintenance?
Discussion
My A6 is due back in August when it will turn 3 years old.
However my new I4 has been delayed again until Sept at the earliest.
I therefore may need to extend the lease informally with VWFS but currently have maintenance included.
Does anyone know if VWFS would therefore pay for the mot and any works required if the lease extends month to month?
Cheers

Your MOT should be covered under your 3 year agreement as you would have had to have the vehicle MOT'd before you hand it back if you kept it for the full 3 years.
As the MOT is due on the third anniversary of the cars first registration you could avoid the test altogether by simply arranging for collection a day or two before its due.Edited by Mark V GTD on Tuesday 29th March 10:51
We leased a car on a two year term with maintenance included.. We are now going into the fifth year with it. I simply increase the length every year. The mots and any work required for mot is included in the contract..the cars out of manufacturers warranty but I've paid for the additional years at extra cost to myself.. Just in case something major goes bang. Obviously our lease car can't be classed as anywhere near new now but the current lease deals that I can find are about 70 per cent more expensive.. Seems to work for us
