Apologies if this has been asked here before (possibly many times), but searching and Googling more generally didn't bring up an absolutely definitive answer.

Both my wife and I are looking to use our full ISA allowances this tax year. Both of us have S&S LISAs and have added the maximum £4000, so have received the £1000 bonus from the Government. Does that mean that our remaining ISA allowance is £15k or does the Government contribution not count to the £20k limit, so we'd be able to add £16k to our S&S ISAs?

The second example on this page: https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/how... seems to indicate that the you can invest £20k across ISA/LISA and that the Government contribution would not count as part of that £20k allowance.

No. £4k LISA + £16k ISA so you end up with £21k contributed in the tax year.
