Buying a car at a BCA trade auction

Is anyone on here a trade member of BCA motor auctions? There's a car at BCA Bridgwater I'd like to bid on. I've been told about it and know the car really well - it used to belong to a neighbour but they traded it in before I realised they were selling. Unfortunately I'm not in the motor trade so can't register with BCA. Frustrating to say the least!

There are car buying services or just ask a local dealer. Depending when it is I can probably do it live or maybe proxy bid it (this often just becomes the high bid) if you want but no disrespect I would want a fair deposit for buying it.

I’ve got a Mannheim log in, but I’d warn that some of the cars are going through at, or above, compatible forecourt prices due to shortages.
A better deal can be had buying privately, even from dealers etc.

I phoned BCA earlier but it was a ballache. The general concensus is the buyer fees vary depending on 'which colour card the buyer has registered with us'. Not a clue!!!!

Well known guy as in on here? The link above sounds safer, which is now my plan. Bca were open to the public before lockdown - not sure if they’ll be reopening.
