Hello all

have just literally installed some different taillights into a porsche boxster 987.1

it took around 20 minutes.

now ive gone to move the car and it wont start. its as if the battery is dead?

now do i assume the battery is dead or remove the lights and put OEM back in? (hassle)

surely 20 minutes power on could not flatten a battery?

edit - unplugged lights and tried to turn car on. same thing. dashboard flickers but nothing starts

20 minutes is definitely long enough to affect a battery's output. If you are lucky, a jump start and good run will get enough power back into the battery and it can recover with a full charge from then on but equally it may have already been on its way out....
