Does anybody else find this at the moment? :banghead:
We've got a pretty common set up at home - Nice television with SKY etc...
Not long ago we were like everybody, BBC1/BBC2/ITV and Channel 4. We were happy :wobble:, there were good shows to watch. Is there too much choice now?
What are the best things to watch?

I dont actually bother with a Tv but when I temporaryily requisition someone elses its usually for Topgear, maybe the news occaisionally, Scrubs, the other occaisional comedy program, or those pointless top 10 programs on tanks and aircraft they have on 5 sometimes.
Most programs though if they are any good can wait until they come out on DVD so I can watch at my leisure with no waiting until next week or missing bits through answering the phone, or a TV licence since I use my DVD drive on the laptop
. Plus I can then watch them again whenever I want

At the moment I am watching Top Gear and Deadwood, and that is about it.
When the football season starts I will watch match of the day again.
I also occasionally watch a movie on Sky Movies, but apart from that I mainly watch DVD's- Old TV Series and films.

I was at my parents house in Wales yesterday night and for some reason they were watching WELSH language Channel 4 with Welsh Subtitles. Not because the Digital Telly they have doesn't have english speaking channels (it does I checked this morning) but because they are trying to learn welsh, and it's their HOMEWORK. Which I thought a little rude as I wanted to talk to my dad about cars (he ain't interested).
Talking of the Other TV ? I had my picture and my car in Augusts edition of TOTAL Vauxhall, in their 6 page feature on the 30th Year Cavalier Celebrations.

We have plain old terrestrial TV only, and not even the freeview channels either. I find that, usually, there will be perhaps two, or three programmes on each day that I will want to watch. Some days however, there is absolutely nothing on at all, on any channel. Of my daily selection, there are usually one or two programmes on each week that are outstanding. We used to have the full set of satellite/cable channels, many hundreds of them but if theres one thing worse than having five channels and nothing to watch, its having five hundred channels and nothing to watch, and that was nearly always the case with SKY etc. My problem is that I am an average bloke which means that I am far too sophisticated for TV because about 95% of all TV is made for the way below average.

Yes - amazing! How much do you think the contracts to move things like that are worth?
No idea, i was wondering why they didnt rebuild the factory at its new location. It must be easily in the region of millions, considering the weeks it took to move them.
