Ford TDCi pre 2005 EGR: can it be cleaned 'Manifold Off'
Discussion
Has anyone been able to establish whether its possible to clean the early type Ford 1.8TDCi EGR (2004), having got the Manifold off
It’s a right pig of a job to get the Manifold off on these early engines and I want to be sure that having done so I’m not going to have wasted my time.
Note, I'm talking about the pre-2005 type, which is integral to the Inlet Manifold; not the later type, which sits on top, can be removed and looks like a complete doddle of a job.
(My car's a 2004 TDCi, last of the Mk1,'s, I think likely the the <2002 TDDi has the same arrangement, but I've not laid eyes on one, so I'm not sure)
Unfortunately, nobody on YouTube has done one that's 'this early'
