UK Porsche Delivery Times 2022 - Sheerness/Grimsby to dealer

What sort of timescales are we at from when your brand new car arrives at port in the UK to getting to your dealer?

I've seen some take 1 week from arriving at port to collection day and some take almost a month!

I Picked up my new GT4 at the weekend, I was told the following dates while waiting:

9/3: Told Car Build complete and left for Port in Germany
10/3: Told Car arrives at port in Germany
17/3: Told car is on Boat for UK
21/3: Told car has arrived at dealership
23/3: I go to my dealer to sign all final forms and take a quick preview of my car pre-preparation
26/3: Took Delivery of the car

To be honest, I don't know which port my car went to, but my dealership is in the south of England

My car arrived at Sheerness on 14th March and is still there.
Dealer has no idea of when it will on a trailer to them. Anyone else experiencing similar?

From past experience, anything from 2 days to 2 weeks.

As mentioned previously, the OPCs generally have no idea when when a transporter is going to turn up at their door, or what’s going to be on it!

They're supposed to get a delivery weekly I think but given the way cars are coming through my guess is they wait for a full load before delivering.

It's incredible how bad the whole process is from the day the car goes into built to it getting delivered....or how little accurate information the OPC's get.

Mine arrived on the 24th at Sheerness, my dealer said to me 10 working days ETA from Sheerness to dealer. Fingers crossed it isn't much longer now GT cars go to Reading for PDI then to your dealer. Which dealer did you buy from?
