I'm starting to think about a change of car and that Aston itch needs scratching again! What are the recent V8 Vantages like for overall build, reliability, issues, etc? Ta in advance.

I have a 2020 vantage and i am very happy. I have had some minor issues. Brake squeal and occasional infotainment button issues ( having to press more than once or just harder). The passenger front wheel tends to pop when turned all the way in. Dealer has checked it and swears it's "normal". Will be bringing back in for a third check just to make sure since my warranty is up soon. The biggest issue I seem to have is the giant smile that appears on my face when I hammer the small pedal wink

Zero issues with my 2020 other then a worn shoulder from washing it too often.

Read up on the ackerman effect which cold tyres and conditions like winter using summer tyres mean the shoulder of the tyre is moving across the road surface.

A combination of larger wheels, lower profile tyres tends to make it also worse.

Completely normal, just not a nice sensation and sometimes it causes additional shoulder tyre wear. Both Vantages I have recently driven suffered with it on cold tyres, but went away once warmer.

Also suffered with the slow button response in the first one I drove, the 2nd one seemed better.

Incidentally I am looking for mine in the next month or so as well so will watch.

Thanks for the great information. I will have to check with the tires warm. I know it definitely happens with cold tires.

My 2019 version is fine for build quality. Bad points a) the standard radio system is crap b) the grip from the standard fit P-Zeros is poor - I’m going to fit PS4s soon.
Don’t buy one if you’re a shy retiring type - people will be whipping their phones out to take photos, and lots of others will want to chat to you.

Definitely agree with the cell phone pics. I often catch people in my rear view mirror taking photos while I am at a light. Get ready for a lot of attention.
