Apologies for the grauniad link but this is appears to be where the story is breaking all over my social media.
This bloke, and several of the women mentioned, were in the year above me at my school so as you might imagine there is a lot of chatter going on about it!

The names and faces are familiar but I had no idea any of this was going on - but what stands out is how someone can get multiple suspended sentences for the same crime AND have a rap sheet as long a your arm, but still be allowed to go free until one copper made it a personal mission.

The usual police excuses about "lessons learned" to be incoming?

That was a long and difficult read. I was stalked at school by a girl that wouldn't take no for an answer, we had to change our phone numbers etc even then she was able to get them again sometimes. Fortunately this was all pre-internet. Police eventually got a restraining order on her but even that was tricky to obtain and enforce as she was a minor. A horrible experience these victims have my full sympathy.
