US engine identification wanted

Can anyone tell me the make of this engine, which was installed in a Frazer-Nash during the 1960s. Thanks in anticipation of your help.

Well timed post, as tomorrow is the 90th Anniversary of Henry Ford unveiling the Flatty V8 to the public.

Interestingly, the flatty in the OP's photo has stock cast-iron heads fitted but has an aftermarket Weiand 2x2 intake manifold with 2 x Stromberg 97's.

How do you work that out?
Its a 2x2 with 2x97's, there is no 3rd carb.

How do you work that out?
Its a 2x2 with 2x97's, there is no 3rd carb.
