In America, where the Rapide is for sale, the asking price is $29,990, but that converts to just £23,000.

I don't think that is much more, than just a V12 engine would cost here.

I can’t believe that’s genuine or there is something else going on.

That is low. I have been watching guide prices of Rapides on BCA etc and prices certainly seem to have dropped in recent weeks. (£28k for a 60k example?)

I spotted the advert, but know nothing else.
Says for sale in Seattle.
This is the advert. Don't know whether it is a dealer, or private sale.

A bargain indeed. Some of our US-based members should inquire.

No doubt if supplied with a full tank of gas....the price will be double?

I live in Seattle and I might have to check that out. I'm sure there's something wrong with it as it is way too cheap!

That car seems to be $30k under what it should be listed at. As it happens, I need a car in Seattle in August and the rental cost is so crazy I am considering buying. Not this car though, there is no way it is genuine.

You never know Dale, it might turn out to be a recently bereaved widow, desperate to quickly get rid of a pristine, cherished, lightly used car, which her husband seemed to adored more than her.

Don't forget me, if you find it is a bargain. - wink

Scam damage. I took a look at the site and it is flooded (excuse the pun) with scams. A DB4 for $10k for example. This Rapide ad does not have the basic info that is expected in the US for any car AD and is way too cheap even for a rebuild. Typical ADs over here will have the VIN included so you can run a car fax report. Also, it is rare to see a car only listed on one sales platform like this car is. If I thought for a moment this was real, I would buy it.
