The Saxdor 200 has been winning awards since it’s launch. Does anyone here own one?

Took the plunge and bought a Saxdor at the beginning of the season. She has been in the water all summer except for an oil change and warranty work.
How has it been?
64 hours. Longest trip 75nm. Comfy. Fast. OK in choppy conditions but best suited to calmer days.
The layout and design is really clever.
The components are generally good quality but the finishing has not met expectations.
With some attention over the winter the few minor niggles should be resolved ready for next summer.

Saxdor are building a new factory. Hopefully this will improve things.
Wiring was a bit haphazard and some poor connections. Battery under specification and poorly mounted. Drain holes in bilge blocked with construction debris.
All resolvable but disappointing.
My boat has the 150 3.0l Mercury. I went for this over the 150 because I wanted the larger alternator capacity, more grunt and supposedly better fuel consumption. Whilst the fuel consumption itself was not an issue the range was important to me. Range on the 150 is greater than the range on the 115.
My boat is not anti fouled. I personally think anti foul is ugly and not that cost effective.
For £100 I can have the boat removed from the water. Jet washed and returned to my mooring.
The designer at Axopar left and set up Saxdor.
I like the look of the new Saxdor 270 but my mooring isn’t big enough.

Have you put an epoxy resin system on the hull to prevent water ingress... or is the boat not in the water that much of the year? For £100 I can have the boat removed from the water. Jet washed and returned to my mooring.

@gunso do you still have the boat? Be interested to hear how they are a few years in as I m looking for one just now.
Hello - yes I still own the Saxdor. It has been a durable flexible boat.
It is fast, fun, adaptable and capable of dealing with some tricky conditions. (My error!)
The design is great but the factory finish was not brilliant beneath the surface, However with a little time and effort all the niggles have been resolved. I think at the time I bought mine a well maintained used boat would have been a better buy. I do not know if new boats in 2025 are manufactured to a higher standard.
Issues I have had. Electrical niggles. False water in fuel warnings. SIMRAD failure. Unreliable fuel quantity readouts. (Overcome by using keeping the Mercury fuel calculations instead.)
A great little boat overall if a little unstable at anchor.
