It's got a strong feeling of The Apprentice so far. It's getting niggly with the bickering.

We’ve just said the same here. It’s even in the same slot.

Take it you’re not familiar with UK seaside catering prices…

You are really not prepared for the impact of inflation

It was an ok watch. Gordon was trying not to repeat Alan Sugar's phrases. It has copied a lot from The Apprentice.

I didn't think any of the teams made food that looked that great considering they are some of the best food creators in the UK. There's lots of food stalls turning out better.

Total tripe.

The Apprentice but with food as the theme.

Ramsay is trying repeatedly to expand his TV presence beyond shouting at people in a kitchen and isn't doing a very good job at it. His game show 'Bank Balance' was terrible (both in the gameplay and his total lack of the necessary positive charisma as a host) and after bearing two episodes of it I am not at all surprise it got canned after one series.

He's making the same mistake that Chris Evans did, assuming that he can move into other spaces in entertainment but failing to realise that other people are already doing their thing in that space better than he can and will inevitably be compared unfavourably with them.

Stick to what you know Gordon!

I think more of Gordon berating people and doing kitchen nightmares type stuff is what we need.

Isn't the issue more to do with the format, than the presenter themselves. Replace the presenter to <insert whoever is deemed the best for the role> but you still have a hybrid of programmes that no one really wanted. I don't care which chef can jump out of a helicopter the best, I want to see how well they cook.

Stumbled across this last night, was fairly poor.

£8 for a toasty after an hours wait? Newquay standard innit?

As for Ramsay, I actually like the guy. The thing with Gino & Fred was good. But best, years ago I really enjoyed F Word on C4 with JSP. Some nice food, no shouting, Ramsay chatted to c'lebs.

Remember watching that a lot.

GR loves himself. He should go back to his roots, go into resturants to help them turn around, that was interesting, this is just tripe.

Missed the first one, watched the second and will watch the rest.
GR is a total c***!
BUT he is very, very good at what he does best. The way he boned that fish blind folded and then cut off 200g was impressive, If it was real. It shows that he hasn't lost it and either has that ingrained into him, or still keeps his hand in.
The bit with him riding in on the quad was just dire though.
That black lady's got a lot going on visually. I think I could stand and look at her for a few minutes, just taking it all in like a picture in a gallery.

the salmon filleting bit reminded me of the mitchel and webb sketch they did on him. He is just peacocking.
