Excellent looking forward to it I suppose any enhancements with a free patch is better than a kick in the chops.To me that sounds one of two things.
1) They are not happy with the work the external studio has done so have taken it back to do themselves and possibly start again, so obviously no completion date can be given right now.
or
2) With the new Witcher game using Unreal Engine 5 and how easier and quicker it is to develop than using their own REDEngine they have decided to upgrade Witcher III to Unreal Engine 5 as a test bed release later this year.

3) Current dev studio are heavily Russian based, so I suspect that didn't want the expected association. 1) They are not happy with the work the external studio has done so have taken it back to do themselves and possibly start again, so obviously no completion date can be given right now.
