Hi all

Just bought an older car that is in good condition but has been left on a SORN under trees and where the panels meet around doors, windscreen, sunroof etc etc it's green and mouldy, is it a job for diluted bleach or hot soapy water or any other better ideas?

The dashboard is very shiny and sticky, obviously some nasty cheap dashboard gloss from a pound shop, how do I clean and restore it?

The cockpit controls and steering wheel need a good cleaning also

So if someone could educate me on what to use for a decent job, I'm not planning on a showrrom finish but would like decent value products?

Cheers lads

Exterior - A good wash down with the jetwash, snowfoam, another wash down, 2 bucket wash and a soft brush for the small gaps, jetwash then dry with microfibre cloths. I'd then claybar with detailing spray followed by a good polish and sealant using Autglym products.

Interior - Magic eraser is a god send for buffing, I use them all the time to get rid of shiny products and shiny leather. Use with some leather cleaner or multi purpose, buff well with the eraser then dry off with a microfibre. I've had a lot of cars that sat for 20+ years and these are the methods I swear by the return surfaces to matte.
