Topic reminds me of a joke.

What is the difference between an accountant and an actuary? At least an accountant looks at your shoes when you are speaking to them.

Probably have to be an accountant to find it funny though!

in the office today and wearing scruffy trainers although there is a set of shiny shoes sitting in my office cupboard........................ guess my shoes are not shinier than the bosses then

No, as my safety trainers have the suede uppers. Haven’t worn shoes in years.
