F31 320i 2015 Issue!

Hi All

Would appreciate some thoughts please.

The temp gauge has started to hardly move, even when fully warmed up.

Is it oil or water on these? Any typical things I can check?

It’s oil temp.

Could be the oil temp sender.
Bad thermostat
Worst case a faulty ECU
