Phone Link and Link to Windows
Discussion
I did but I'll be honest I didn't find it that useful. I guess it depends what you want to use it for.
Both the SMS app and WhatsApp now offer the facility to link in a browser window for messages. WhatsApp also offer a Beta standalone app for Mac and Windows.
Combine that with various cloud backup services linking the phone directly seems like a bit of a faff TBH.

I live by it. Set it up years ago between my old OnePlus 3 and my PC at the time, then moved on with no problems with a OnePlus 7pro and Windows 10 on a new machine. Rarely had a problem and when I have it is normally because one side has updated and the other has not. ALso got my laptop synced with my phone - again no problem.
Not used it for making calls, so can't see that screen (would be nice to be able to see call logs without setting up call access) however most texts i send are through my PC and also it is a quick way to transfer photos across (though for more than a couple I use WinSCP and a ftp server providing file manager on the phone),
What actual problem do you have? Is it a case that you have the latest software on your PC and phone but they will not see each other ?
Edit - btw it is not new, just a new icon and maybe name to bring it in line with the Windows 11 feel. New icon threw me but then the old one was too similar to the calculator icon and on the Tiles screen I have one above the other, have started the wrong app before by getting the icons confused.
