Has anyone had a revised trader in value from Apple?

Recently got a new iPhone 13 and traded my prefect XS Max. Yes it really was perfect! Only negative was 83% battery health.

Apple offered £225 which seemed fair and no hassle.

Received an email today from apple that their "Trade in partner" has revised the value to £56 due to "LCD streaks or screen bleeding"

Guess what, the screen was perfect. So either its been badly damaged in shipment or something weird is going on. I'll check the serial and IMEI when it comes back but now sure what I can do if someones pulled a fast one

Anyone else experienced this? Ive asked for its return obviously.

Did you have pics of condition before sending? Could be a mix up at the partner where they were being assessed so definitely check it was your device.

If it comes back and it’s fine then punt it via a different provider on one of the compare sites.
