Mine is due for renewal in a couple of weeks, and tracker no longer required by insurers. Vodaphone want €456 for 2 years, and I'm not paying. Its been a constant problem, as documented elsewhere on here.

My question is - does anyone know how long I will get the "No drivercard detected" message for once the contract expires? As the system initially connects to Porsche servers, I also wonder if the app functions will still work, but without the vodaphone monitoring - anyone know please?

Don't know if it is the same for the UK as I am in Germany but it is two different services, so the other paid online services still work even though you don't have the tracking function. So any faults should dissapear once the service is off.

It's warning you that the battery is flat (or getting very low). If you don't want to pay, don't - just leave the card in the centre console after you've fitted a new battery to it. Job done.

you get the "no driver card detected" all the time. Either keep the keyfob thingy in the car or just ignore it. I do the later.
The app no longer works at all.
I had it for a few months when I bought my 718 secondhand, as the functionality was limited on a 2016 car, there was no why I'd pay that amount for it.
It's even worse when I pay about £60 per year for the same features on my Skoda Superbrolleyes
