Hi, I've just suffered my first dead battery episode on the V8 Vantage, it started easily after boosting it from my trusty Mercedes W124, but now I seem to have a 'Alarm system service required' message on the dash that won't go away. Any ideas on how to reset this please as I can no longer see my mpg, range etc.

Thank you

Alarm service is typically failure of the back-up battery in the module hidden behind the nearside rear wheel. It leaks, and destroys the pcb tracks. Volvo/Ford modules look the same, but I chickened out and bought the AM part.

Thanks both, after a few restarts, it seems to have cleared itself, Apply CarPlay seems to have stopped communicating, but other than that, all back to normal. Thank you.
