Warehouse rental

Does anybody know of a good site / agent to rent a warehouse through?
The company I work for needs to be able to park our vans. Any suggestions would be useful!

Shop around, negotiate, or appoint an agent to act on your behalf to negotiate the rent. You need to consider how long you want it for, whether you need breaks in the lease, whether you want court protection so have a right to renew your lease, the lease terms themselves need to be considered to mitigate delapidations when you move out etc!

Have a look around for estate agency boards in the area and call the agents to see what they have. Problem will be how many vans you need to park as large yards are quite rare, and can be expensive on the gorunds that you can get more by putting buildings on it.

Do you really need warehouse or a secure parking compound?

The warehouse will be dearer probably.

Surely you only need someone to negotiate a lease on your behalf with the Landlord.

The local Councils will possibly have a list of available properties in the areas of interest.

We have a small wharehouse with parking on our estate, there are also several bigger ones available on the stanhope road estates in Camberley.

We ideally need a warehouse where we can park the vans, we have secure parking but they keep getting broken into. The vans are TV production vehicles and always attract attention.
Also we could work on the vans if we are under cover and has some power.
The problem I am finding at the moment is the size of the doors. The vans are 11.5 feet high and lots of loading doors seem to be about 10.9 foot!
We'd be looking at about 100 or so sq metres

If the vans keep getting broken into the parking can't be that secure!

You will struggle to find a suitable unit due to the height you need. It might be possible to replace the door with a taller one. alternatively you might need to take something larger. The alternative is to look at an old farm building but not sure where they are advertised!
