Where we live isn’t a bad area, however, around this time each year the stolen moped bandits start whizzing around at all hours taking the total piss.

Anyone else enjoying the same thing?

We used to, not a stolen one just an annoying little tt who used to tear up and down the street on this fookin thing you could hear over your tv from streets away! But after multiple complaints the Police had a strong word with the Parents as well as their little tt and it stopped. Did see him once get stopped on the street by a waiting Police car as well which made me point at him and laugh loudly as I walked past! He looked suitably embarrassed when I explained to the Copper that I lived nearby and it was great that they'd got finally him. They had actually been called to a report of a prowler and had just got back to their car when they heard his little buzz bomb coming from the other end of the street and decided to "Have a Word" and just pulled across the street. Think that may have been when they started taking the complaints seriously! He wasn't one of the criminal fraternity though, just a teenager who thought he was 'It' on his waspy little bike!
He must have shat himself when they pulled out as there are usually cars parked both sides and he'd have probably crashed if he'd tried to get away! hehe

Not mopeds near me but we do live off a country B road which has a few long straights and sweeping bends, every weekend with good weather it sounds like the TT is on with motorcyclists flying along doing ridiculous speeds. Fully expect a fatal collison before long.

Welcome to my world, I live just off the A368 on the route to Cheddar/Mendips/Burrington Coombe. It's innundated with the loonies from Bath & Bristol who decide that the village with a long straight and being a 30 due to the primary school on it is ripe for taking the absolute piss.

Not far away is Chew lake where peeps park up with the family/kids to feed the ducks and I can hear bikes absolutely pinning it past.

I love a bit of speed and once up onto the mendips its basically open with a few houses and great roads with nice line of sight. Do it there.

I'm all for that but not through a village or where people aren't expecting a bike to come hooning past.
