I’m busy sorting out the wiring on a 1971 Lotus Elan. Trying to keep with the old bullet connectors. Single & double sleeves available for pennies. No one seems to have triples or quadruples anymore. I found one classic specialist who has some, but wanted £8 +vat+postage for one connector.

I thoughts these would have been readily available but they appear to be collectors items now. They’re also sleeved in grey plastic, so not in keeping with the other electrics.

AES will do you 1/2/3/5 way connectors - https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product_lis...

Tripples £3.29 for 1/£2.96/each for 10 with 5-way at £5.33/£4.91.

edit: Well there's a first - Holden actually cheaper for something!

Both Holdens and AES have the 3 way connector for 3 single isolated internal connections.

The ones I need are for 3 non-isolated connectors I.e. all the bullets are connected together within the fitting.

AES has them listed but out of stock

Would have thought 6 in/out would create overheating issues? Potentially 6 live wires all coming together in one connector, doesn’t sound right to me.

We're talking about a fibreglass car though, so no body earth. You could easilly run the earths for say 5 gauge illumination bulbs in to one of these/a single wire out to earth without any issues (for example).

Absolutely correct. Multiple earths required for the headlights, indicators, sidelights, and indicator repeaters, all going to a common earth. That’s 5 in/out.

Brilliant - thanks. Mind you £12 for two is still pretty steep, but needs must and all that. At least they’re black which is what I require.
